Collaborator: Based in USA. 

Collaborator in business since 1994 and offer a wide range of contact (call) centre services. Collaborator owns/operates 3 centres in US and 1 in Caribbean.  Interested in full contact centre outsourcing with agents based in low cost highly skilled labour markets. Keen on India. 

Their goal is to create an inbound call centre in India that is supplemented by outbound services in order to maximise the operations, effectiveness and revenue per workstation. Outbound services will increase a much more rapid ramp in the initial growth of the facility since there is a longer sales cycle in the provision of inbound customer. 

Equity split with the partner can be discussed to ensure both parties have confidence that the correct business decisions will be made to achieve their combined objectives. It is proposed that the JV is based in the US with operations under a wholly owned subsidiary in India used for practical reasons. The JV should be based in US to provide additional measure of confidence to customers who select the new venture for outsourcing all of their customer contact activities and to ensure that the company is driven by customers responding to their outsourcing moods.

The promoter’s share of investment would be around US$ 2 million. Collaborator assures of the market outsourcing abroad and all the investments at US end. A fast decision will have to be taken. Else, the US Company is also thinking of opening its own call centre in Bangalore in a few months.

Existing Call Centres interested may have an advantage that their facilities will be counted towards their contribution and the Collaborators will get an ongoing project with little lead time. Existing infrastructure or rented space may be used.
