1.	For setting up/expansion/modernisation of units in all sectors of Food Processing (fruits, vegetables, meat, poultry, fish, cereals, pulses, oilseeds, etc.)
2.	For setting up Post-harvest Infrastructure and Integrated Cold Chain.
3.	For setting up cold storages:-
	i) For non-horticulture produce (provided by National Horticulture Board for Horticulture produce) ii) As an integral part of the food processing unit or food park iii) Special type of cold storages with controlled modified atmosphere facility.
4.	For availing the assistance, apply in the prescribed format through the State Nodal Agency identified in each state to promote food processing industries.

The  project should be appraised by a financial institution, be technically and financially viable, required loan / working capital be tied up, technical / managerial / operational / marketing manpower, marketing etc. be arranged for success of the project.
