Salient Features :

1. Capacity and Raw Materials: 600 TPA Plastic Glasses [27.21 crore HIPS (High Impact Poly Styrene) glasses of 1.25 gm. each and 12.96 crore PP (Poly Propylene) glasses of 2 gm. each].  Around 67 boxes/day of 10,000 Glasses each in the first year at 50% capacity utilisation and 80 boxes/day of 10,000 Glasses each in the second year onwards at just 60% capacity utilization have been assumed.
2. Cost of the project: Rs 127.50 lakhs.
3. Promoter's contribution at 35% of project cost: Rs 44.50 lakhs.
4. Loan from a Financial Institution: Rs 83.00 lakhs.
5. Assumed Interest rate: 11%.
6. Land required: 1000 sq. mtrs.
7. Plant and machinery: One sheet plant, two thermoforming machines and allied machinery.
8. Latest quotations: From a reputed supplier whose price is most competitive and whose many plants are running all over the country, will be included in the project report.
9. Profit before depreciation and tax:  In first year before depreciation is Rs 23.11 lakhs.
10. Net profit: After considering the probable taxes and depreciation is Rs 11.34 lakhs.
11. Cash Break even point at 60% capacity utilization: only 40%.
12. Debt service coverage ratio (DSCR): 1.80.
13. Other information: This is a very lucrative project. The project comes under small scale industries and is eligible for National Equity Fund Scheme of SIDBI.  Equity assistance can also be availed from SIDBI for this project.
